Role Objectives We are seeking a Project Manager (6-month contract) to join our commercialisation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery, process, governance, and reporting of projects. The initiatives, mainly branded (e.g., McVitie’s, Jacob’s), require exceptional cross-functional collaboration to achieve World Class execution. The commercialisation team focuses on process enablement, cross-functional integration, risk mitigation, and project portfolio consolidation. This role reports to the Commercialisation Controller and works alongside a team of Project Managers. This position is based in our Chiswick office on a hybrid (3:2) model. Key Responsibilities Plan, govern, and deliver projects on time and in full, approved through the commercialisation forum. Manage projects through the pladis stage & gate system. Track and report progress/issues accurately and timely, highlighting compliance, key issues, and risks. Identify at-risk projects, escalate appropriately, and collate options, impacts, and recommendations. Control project scope, action standards, and guard rails, with clear approval processes for changes. Resolve conflicts and interface problems within projects, ensuring timely adaptive actions. Ensure smooth delivery of pack change projects, including SKU or code changes, mitigating packaging write-offs. Identify, communicate, and align initiatives with interdependencies across markets and functions. Required Experience Essential Project Management experience Expertise in at least one business area (Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Procurement, Technical) Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects Desirable FMCG experience Commercial acumen Experience across multiple functions Formal project management qualification (e.g., Prince) Interview Process First stage: 45-minute competency-based interview based on company values and experience Second stage: 60-minute technical interview, case study, or presentation Note: Psychometric and aptitude tests may be part of the process.
