The Opportunity
We are looking for a 2+ PQE UK qualified lawyer to join our Corporate, Commercial and Privacy team. In this position, you will assist our growing number of diverse clients with a varied range of commercial, privacy and corporate work. LegalVision's clients operate in a range of industries, including SaaS/IT, healthcare, e-commerce, construction and recruitment.
Ideally, we are also looking for a versatile lawyer, with a broad knowledge base, who is also willing to be flexible and to assist our other practice areas from time to time. Our ideal candidate has a strong grasp of the UK's data protection legislation (including the UK GDPR), as well as consumer laws.
This is an opportunity to practise law differently - without the inflexibility, micromanagement and facetime of traditional law firms - whilst continuing to work on challenging matters with interesting clients. How You'll Help Clients
- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, including supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, e-commerce documents, IT and software contracts, IP and licensing agreements, contractor agreements and referral agreements
- Drafting and reviewing Privacy Policies and Internal Privacy Manuals
- Advising on the GDPR, including responding to data subject access requests, data breaches, controller/processor arrangements, and AI implications
- Advising on UK consumer laws
- Advising on company structuring, and preparing articles of association and shareholder agreements
- Assisting clients with general corporate governance, such as share splits, share issues and transfers
