Service Overview: Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist Anxiety and Depression Treatment Centre located in a tranquil rural area of East Sussex. The service offers bespoke therapeutic care in a peaceful, retreat-like setting, with free on-site parking and excellent access via local transport services. This highly regarded independent hospital provides intensive, recovery-focused treatment for adults struggling with anxiety disorders, depression, and related conditions. The multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to support personalised recovery journeys within a calm and supportive environment.

About the Role: As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the delivery of holistic, patient-centred care under the supervision of the nursing team. You’ll support patients through their daily routines, therapeutic activities, and emotional challenges—helping them build resilience, self-esteem, and long-term coping strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and compassionate care in line with individual treatment plans
  • Support emotional wellbeing and behavioural management
  • Collaborate with a diverse team including psychologists, nurses, and therapists
  • Maintain professional and therapeutic boundaries at all times

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working in a mental health or support setting, preferably in services focused on mood or anxiety disorders
  • Valid PMVA (or equivalent) and Basic Life Support training within the last 12 months
  • Up-to-date Mandatory Training (within 12 months)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and commitment to shift patterns as outlined
  • Driving licence desirable due to location, although a reliable local bus service is available
