Equifind has partnered with a global financial services group to help them hire a Financial Analyst for their team in London. This role acts as a key bridge between finance and the wider business, supporting senior management with commercial insight, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making. Itβs ideal for someone with strong technical skills, a commercial mindset, and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels. The business has a strong track record of internal mobility, with many employees progressing into broader or international roles. Key Duties Include:
- Reconciliation of Bonus and Long-Term Incentive (LTIP) accrual accounts across a number of legal entities
- Preparation of valuation models for LTIPs including current period calculation, forecasting and budgeting and ensuring appropriate accruals
- Calculation of annual bonus pools across the business and collaborating with senior stakeholders
- Develop insightful analytics on compensation expenses across the international business, identifying key trends and providing strategic insights to senior leadership
- Support with group restructures, mergers, acquisitions in relation to any compensation related financial modelling/queries as required
- Preparation of UK Partner profit share allocations working closely with HR and Tax teams
- Support as necessary with annual audits on all compensation accounting related matters, working with internal stakeholders and external Auditors
Experience & Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (preferably trained in an audit)
- A minimum of 3 years experience within an audit/finance function
- Experience in financial services is a plus, though not required
- Great communication skills and the ability to speak finance to non-finance personnel
- Strong excel skills and advanced modelling
- Exceptional commercial awareness
Compensation:
- Base salary of Β£60-70,000
- Annual bonus, commensurate with company and individual performance
