Our client is a large and complex business based in Blackburn and we are seeking to appoint an Accounts Receivable Supervisor for a 6 month contract following the change in bank accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the Accounts Receivable function
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer invoices
  • Ensure all AR functions comply with company policies and financial regulations
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve billing issues
  • Manage accounts receivable ageing and maintain healthy cash flow
  • Drive process improvements within the AR function
  • Apply strong leadership skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Utilise a solid understanding of accounting principles to support financial stability
  • Handle large volumes of data using Excel

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar financial role
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, particularly in multi-site operations and in an international company
  • Experience in handling invoices is advantageous
  • Demonstrable ability to consolidate and centralise financial processes across various locations
