Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Global Credit, Global Convertible, Volatility & Capital Structure Arbitrage, Event-Driven Investing, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets Trading, and Global Quantitative Trading.
Seeking a motivated, solutions-oriented Business Analyst with a desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will work closely with both internal staff and vendors to solve critical issues with our trading systems stack. You will be responsible for assisting with high-impact initiatives. Experience defining and documenting business requirements and contributing to complex Trading System projects is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a business analyst for trading systems initiatives such as requirements gathering and technical integration efforts.
- Assist with user onboarding requests for our trading systems.
- Engage with resources across our organization and external vendors.
- Work with trading system partners on key initiatives including new business processes, trading strategies, investment products, and application troubleshooting.
- Drive the UAT process with our user base for system enhancements and bug fixes.
- Provide user trainings and system demos for our investment team.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in relevant roles.
- Understanding of trading lifecycle, including order capture & execution, allocation workflow, settlement, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Functional knowledge of common investment systems and/or asset classes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and flexible with a positive attitude.
- Experience with application support and vendor management.
