Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new specification business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research. Client Engagement: Organise and attend productive sales meetings with prospective and existing clients, both in-person and virtually. Customer Insight: Employ effective questioning techniques to gather insights, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and identifying opportunities for Bristan. Project Ownership: Manage specified projects throughout their life cycle, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders until orders are won or lost. Business Planning: Develop and execute a strategic business plan designed to meet the Specification Channelβs objectives. Team Collaboration: Liaise regularly with the wider Specification Team to share opportunities and collaboratively pursue new and existing accounts. Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with Merchant Business Development Managers to maximize opportunities through our merchant partners. Industry Presence: Represent Bristan at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our Specification services. Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on sales performance, including conducting gap analyses. CRM Management: Ensure the CRM system is updated with the latest information regarding sales activities and customer interactions. Requirements: Minimum of 1-3 years of sales experience Proficiency in Salesforce CRM is desirable Experience using Microsoft Teams Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Full driving license essential Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Motivated and results-oriented with a proactive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Adaptability to changing market conditions and client needs Self-motivated with a willingness to continuously learn and develop.
