Multi-Modal Freight Forwarder - VR/30909

A permanent Multi-Modal Freight Forwarder position is available with a freight forwarding company based in Dyce. The role reports to the Freight Forwarding and Customs Manager and requires previous experience in a similar capacity. The ideal candidate will be a confident, proactive individual, capable of meeting deadlines within a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities include: Engaging with clients, suppliers, and colleagues through phone, email, and face-to-face communication. Preparing and handling freight quotations. Organising and overseeing collections and deliveries. Working within an office-based Freight and Customs Operations Team. Monitoring shipment progress and providing clients with regular status updates. Performing customs control checks on documentation. Preparing necessary customs declarations. Arranging import and export shipments via air, courier, land, and sea. Managing job file administration professionally and promptly, from file opening and job processing to issuing the final sales invoice. Applicants to this role require: Candidates must have customs clearance experience in a similar role. A high attention to detail and positive attitude and mindset.
