Well, hereat Vital Heating Solutions we are on the lookout for self-motivated, proactive, and friendly individuals – who are both attentive and passionate about all things Mechanical Engineering. The successful Commercial/Pipe Fitter will be responsible for the installation of Commercial Plant Rooms, Heating Ventilation & Cooling Systems (HVAC), Underfloor Heating, LPG and more.

We work with various prestigious and commercial clientele across the North West; our contracts cover facilities inclusive of education, medical, leisure, and commercial sectors. This role will predominantly cover the installation, service, and maintenance of commercial heating systems and associated pipework.

This is a truly unique opportunity, and a highly versatile and continuously progressing role for the future, requiring high levels of self-motivation. You must be deadline-driven, methodical, and logical. As the Commercial/Pipe Fitter, you’ll be covering Lancashire, where you will work on prestigious projects, with a passion and interest in supporting the drive to Net Zero.

Commercial/Pipe Fitter will be responsible for:

• Installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing and pipefitting systems
• Working with press-fit and screwed steel pipework
• Ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards
• Collaborating effectively with team members and site managers

Location & Hours:

• Projects are based throughout the North West, with occasional travel and overnight stays required for jobs outside this area.
• Candidates must be available for both day shifts and twilight shifts
• Twilight shifts: 4 nights per week, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM, with Fridays off and 4 hours paid– offering a great opportunity for a long weekend

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in commercial plumbing and pipefitting
• Skilled in working with press-fit and screwed steel systems
• Flexible and willing to travel as required
• Reliable, professional, and a strong team player
