An excellent opportunity awaits an ambitious Associate to join a well-known UK firm in its Corporate Tax team in London. The transactional tax practice sits within the firm's highly regarded corporate group. The team supports other practice areas on a wide variety of matters and transactions for both corporate and individual clients. This includes corporate M&A, corporate reorganisations, and real estate transactions. They work closely with lawyers across all parts of the firm, providing tax advice on complex, high-profile, high-volume matters. They also regularly assist the banking, employment, and other teams whenever tax issues arise in their matters.
Experience required:
- Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, ideally 4-5 PQE
- Expertise in transactional tax including experience in corporate tax (M&A), corporate reorganisations and real estate related tax advice.
- Ability to provide practical, clear advice.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
- A self-starter with plenty of drive and initiative.
