This role involves fostering a positive college community, engaging with students, and supporting their personal and social development. Responsibilities Provide a welcoming presence in communal areas and promote inclusivity. Deliver 1-1 and group work related to attendance, behavior, and safety. Identify and monitor at-risk students for early intervention. Work with colleagues and external partners on campus safety and safeguarding. Maintain records and safety assessments as per college policies. Candidate Requirements Experience working with young people and understanding of issues affecting attendance. Knowledge of behavior management and safeguarding policies. Excellent listening skills and ability to build positive relationships while maintaining boundaries. Emotional resilience to work with challenging behaviors. Additional Information This position is funded for the 2024/25 academic year, with a start date after August 2024. Salary may increase following a cost of living review from August 2024.
