For Companies Join to apply for the Consultant in Histopathology role at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
Opportunities have arisen to join our teams at Colchester Hospital. We are inviting applications for a full-time post, Consultant Histopathologist.
Applicants will have completed CCT or equivalent (CESR) and must be on the Specialist Register. Those unable to work full-time for personal reasons will be considered, with job modifications discussed on a personal basis in consultation with the Trust and existing colleagues.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Participate in the departmental rota for routine surgical pathology reporting and dissection.
- Attend MDTs according to rostering and clinical need.
- Participate in the MDT cancer care structure and assume leadership for cell pathology in at least one MDT, based on interests and department needs.
- Refer specialist cases to appropriate referral centres for reporting.
