Job Title: Transport Shift Manager Location: Bedford Job Type: Permanent – Full Time Hours: 40 hours per week, working 8 hours per day, primarily between 5am and 7pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility required outside these hours to meet business needs. Join us on this journey as a Transport Shift Manager , reporting to the Transport Manager . Role Responsibilities: Ensure compliance of all vehicles and drivers. Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring on-time and in-full deliveries. Support distribution teams to maintain smooth operations. Meet site objectives while prioritizing health and safety. Oversee daily vehicle and crew operations, including morning dispatch and return. Act as the main contact for real-time delivery issues and coordinate with customer services. Experience and Key Attributes: Supervisory or leadership experience in transport or logistics. Knowledge of transport compliance. Customer service skills. IT literacy. Manual Handling experience. IOSH certification (beneficial but not required). Transport Manager CPC (beneficial but not required). We are excited to welcome new team members during this growth phase.
