About the Role:

We’re working with an established and growing building services contractor with over 15 years in the industry. They specialise in high-end residential and commercial projects across London and are now looking for an Electrical Estimator to support their expanding workload. This is a key role in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Complete accurate take-offs and highlight risk items
  • Send enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers
  • Issue RFIs where necessary
  • Use Cypher estimating software (training provided if needed)
  • Prepare tender letters and summaries
  • Support value engineering where appropriate
  • Attend site visits and tender meetings
  • Complete full project handovers to delivery teams
  • Vet subcontractor quotations
  • Assist with large variations if required

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations, ideally within residential or commercial sectors
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical estimating
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Experience using Cypher is desirable but not essential
  • Trade background (apprenticeship or hands-on experience) is a plus

Package & Benefits:

  • £50,000–£65,000 salary (depending on experience)
  • Annual performance bonus
