These tools are already showing strong potential, and the firm is now looking for a strategic and experienced Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead the next stage of investment development.
As CIO, you’ll work closely with founders, data scientists, and engineers to shape and execute the investment strategy. Your role will be key to turning insights into action and driving long-term performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust risk frameworks and performance attribution systems that are transparent, adaptive, and seamlessly integrated with the core platform.
- Bridge the gap between cutting-edge model outputs and real-world market execution by iterating with data science and engineering teams on signal interpretation, trading logic, and strategy deployment.
- Oversee day-to-day investment operations, monitoring internal signals, market dynamics, and model behaviour to refine strategies and enhance resilience.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance investment team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Represent the investment strategy in interactions with capital partners, stakeholders, and institutional investors.
- Define and track investment-related KPIs and OKRs that support the firm's growth and performance ambitions.
- 10+ years of experience in systematic investing, multi-strategy hedge funds, quantitative research, or asset management.
- Proven success in alpha generation, portfolio construction, and team leadership — especially in environments where technology and data science are central to the investment process.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, risk management practices, and investment operations across asset classes (equities focus preferred).
- Ability to operationalise and stress-test complex model outputs in live trading environments.
- Adept at collaborating with technical teams and translating advanced data signals into actionable investment strategies.
- A strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity, commercial instinct, and a passion for innovation in financial markets.
