We’re thrilled to be partnering with a leading global media agency to help grow their Consultancy and Marketing Transformation Division. This is a rare opportunity for a highly strategic, analytically minded, and martech-savvy professional to step into a Marketing Strategy Consultant role that blends client strategy, platform innovation, and data-driven marketing.
The Role
You will act as a data strategy partner and consultant, working 50% of your time with a major retail brand, and 50% across another prestigious account (details to follow). You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of 3 in a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll own and evolve customer data strategies, segmentations, and analytics implementation – helping brands drive engagement and measurable growth.
This is ideal for someone with a strong grasp of customer data platforms (CDPs), CRM strategy, analytics, and marketing tech ecosystems like Adobe, GA4, or Salesforce, who enjoys turning complexity into clarity for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a unified data strategy for a major retail client
- Own customer segmentation, analytics frameworks, and measurement methodologies
- Partner with stakeholders to define and activate audience strategies across brands
- Leverage platforms such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, CDPs, and CRM tools to inform and optimise marketing performance
- Design data activation roadmaps, campaign playbooks, and customer journey maps
- Act as a trusted consultant, collaborating cross-functionally with media, marketing, analytics, and tech teams
- Contribute to the broader consultancy division and engage in innovation and thought leadership
- Support business development and pitch processes as needed
About You
- Proven background in data strategy, CRM, and martech
- Comfortable working with Adobe, Salesforce, GA4, and customer data platforms
- Confident translating business challenges into data solutions, frameworks, and actionable plans
- Strong communicator with a consultative mindset and the ability to simplify technical concepts
