Headquartered in Winter Haven, Florida, and recognized nationwide as an industry leader, our client boasts a fleet of over 600 tractors and 1,200 trailers. Tanker Freight National Sales Representative Our client’s vision is to be the best liquid food grade tank carrier in North America. Their mission is to provide outstanding customer service, delivering products safely and on-time, year-round. They are expanding to meet increased demand for food grade tank capacity. Job Type: Full-time/Work from home Responsibilities: Travel to meet customers regularly, cultivating strong relationships with decision-makers and influencing carrier contracts, shipping lanes, and freight management. Inform customers of new services, capacity, and exceptions. Assist customers with contracts and quotes, submitting requests for approval. Maintain communication with major accounts to ensure needs are met. Complete weekly reports on customer activities and prospecting. Monitor customer load volume, service failures, and performance metrics. Submit weekly itineraries of customer visits. Maintain positive relationships with drivers and discuss potential leads. Communicate customer equipment requirements and service hours to operations. Inform customers of Speed Service and Expedited options. Manage transportation and entertainment expenses weekly. Record daily sales calls in the system. Handle customer complaints appropriately. Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 5+ years of Trucking Freight sales required. 2+ years’ experience in Liquid Bulk Food Grade preferred. Good driving record essential.
