We’re currently partnered with a scaling InsurTech – one of the UK’s most exciting scale-ups – as they are now looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join their growing team.

They are now entering a new growth phase and looking to expand their existing application with new product offering to scale and grow their apps further – this is a great opportunity to take ownership of a scaling app!

The business has raised over $100 million in funding and they are now looking for a Senior Android Engineer to play a vital role in the architecture and delivery of a world-class applications to enhance consumer experience.

What will you be doing:

• Craft and enhance the core application experience across the Android platform
• Scale and redefine existing apps to offer exceptional consumer experience
• Be part of the technical direction and help drive engineering best practices across different teams
• Ensure best practices are kept up to standard within the engineering team
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to launch exciting new products and features
• Share best practice and participate in code review

What are they looking for:

• Experience within Android development
• Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns and best practices
• Experience in app development using Kotlin, Jetpack Libraries, Jetpack Compose
• Knowledge in building SDKs that are scalable and user-friendly
