Client Profile

Our client is a multi-site distribution company (technical products) expanding abroad. The product range is vast and supplied via multi-channel routes to both domestic and B2B sectors. This rapid growth has created new roles, including an experienced Export Co-ordinator.

Role Summary

The Export Coordinator will work in a busy office environment in Middlesbrough as part of the Import/Export team, responsible for export movements across a group of companies:

  • Sourcing quotes from approved forwarders for various transport modes.
  • Liaising with sales teams across warehouse branches for pricing and customer order requirements to ensure optimal service and routing.
  • Arranging export movements with forwarders and preparing all necessary paperwork, including certificates of origin.
  • Coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure timely packaging and shipment readiness.
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements for international movements.
  • Processing and approving forwarder invoices for payment.
  • Performing ad hoc tasks as needed due to staff holidays or other departmental needs.
Experience Needed

A proven export professional with experience in warehouse, transport, or related environments. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Proactive and deadline-driven with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.). This is a fantastic opportunity; we look forward to your application.
