THE ROLE
We are looking to add a Technical Product Owner (TPO) to join our growing team. This hybrid role blends the strategic vision of a Product Owner with the analytical rigor of a Technical Business Analyst. You will work closely with clients, delivery teams, and stakeholders to shape, define, and deliver high-impact technology transformation. As a client-facing TPO, you will be instrumental in translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements, ensuring alignment between client goals and technical execution. You’ll act as the voice of the customer within agile teams, while also providing technical insight and clarity to guide development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Ownership
- Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and development teams, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding.
- Lead sprint planning and review sessions.
- Ensure product increments meet acceptance criteria and deliver measurable value.
- Technical Business Analysis
- Elicit, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and research.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solutions are technically sound and aligned with client expectations.
- Support QA and UAT processes by clarifying requirements and validating outcomes.
- Client Engagement
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor and delivery partner.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and product workshops to uncover opportunities and define solutions.
- Present product updates, roadmaps, and demos to stakeholders at various levels.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role in a software development or consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Ability to translate complex business problems into clear, actionable requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Technical literacy – comfortable discussing APIs, data models, system integrations, and architecture with developers.
- Experience working in a consultancy setting would be highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Azure DevOps.
- Background in software engineering or computer science is a plus.

- Base salary commensurate with experience.
