We are looking for a professional and efficient Executive Assistant to primarily support the Founding Partner of our real estate investment client. This role forms part of the charismatic founder’s small, close-knit and well-established team, however, sits within a bigger, buzzy office, alongside affiliate businesses.
This role covers business and private duties for the Founder and, with light diary management for the Chairman when required. This EA will act as the right hand to the Founder and an integral asset to drive the business forward.
This applicant must have the gravitas and confidence to be an effective gatekeeper and guardian of the Founder’s time – managing expectations, politely and professionally. The highest levels of discretion, loyalty, and trustworthiness are valued assets.
The successful candidate will be ambitious and driven, as there is plenty of scope for growth and development, with the ability to mould the role to suit personal strengths and interests.
Exceptional organisation, proactive problem-solving, and attention to detail are vital skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a friendly, cooperative attitude and a team player mentality.
Prior experience as an Executive Assistant would be advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. There may be occasional out-of-hours requirements, so some flexibility is necessary for this role.
Based – office-based, WFH potential on Fridays, as business needs allow
Hours – 9am-5:30pm
Start – ASAP (max 1 month notice considered)
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Complex diary and inbox management
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Compliance reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing materials for board meetings
- Assisting in creating presentations
- Proactively suggesting meeting follow-up
- Complex travel
- Accounting admin support, e.g. invoices, expense reporting / liaise with accountants
- Organising and maintaining central filing and contact database
- PA support, e.g. family travel, insurance, cars, gifts, personal errands
