We are a not-for-profit organisation specialising in care homes for the elderly across England and Scotland. We have 18 services in Scotland, which provide tailored care and support to people with a range of care needs.

Travel Expenses

It may be necessary for a volunteer to travel to a location other than their normal place of volunteering; they will be reimbursed travel expenses in line with the Travel and Subsistence Group Procedure. It is at the discretion of each home to cover the travel expenses from the volunteers' home to the care home as a goodwill gesture. We are mindful of individual financial situations, and we do not want to put up barriers to volunteering, so please feel free to have a chat with your supervisor.
