We’re looking for a creative, organised, and enthusiastic Product Developer to join our Research, Development & Quality (RDQ) team at Hain Celestial, working within our Farmhouse Fare brand. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about food innovation and product development, with experience in chilled food categories.

As a key member of the team, you’ll support the development and delivery of high-quality, safe, and commercially viable food products, ensuring alignment with customer and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sample Coordination (30%)

• Organise and distribute sample requests

• Prepare repeat kitchen samples

• Manage ingredients – ordering, collecting, and stock rotation

• Pack and label samples; arrange courier deliveries

• Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment

Concept Development (25%)

• Follow the NPD process from concept through to approval

• Adhere to brand and customer guidelines

• Assist with product costing and customer submission documents

• Organise tasting panels and present internally and externally

• Attend supplier meetings

Process Development (25%)

• Support product trials from set-up to post-trial testing

• Gather data and assist with product file completion

• Write and share trial reports

Customer Relationship Management (10%)

• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers

• Stay informed on customer expectations and brief the wider team

Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement (10%)

• Track spend to meet departmental budgets

• Support cross-functional collaboration

• Represent Hain values across the business

• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in a food-related subject with basic culinary skills

• Minimum 1 year in product development, ideally within chilled food

• Project management and commercial awareness

• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills

• Flexible, creative, and enthusiastic “foodie” with a full UK driving licence

• Willingness to travel to other sites/customers and occasionally stay overnight
