Proposal Engineer

We are looking for a Proposals Engineer to join our prestigious client in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a Proposals, Costing, Tendering, Estimating Project Engineering role or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Proposals Engineer will be working closely with the Sales, Process Design and Projects team to ensure Proposal and Costing documentation is completed working on high value projects
• Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure that your work meets customer needs and occasionally visit customer sites where necessary to discuss solutions being proposed
• Liaise with the Supply Chain team to check prices for different parts before creating the proposal

Key Attributes:

• Experience working in a Proposals, Project Engineering or Cost Engineer role previously with an understanding of Project Costing ideal
• Experience working for a manufacturer or engineering company
