Full manufacturer training is provided, so specific brand experience is not required. You will also receive regular training at Volvo’s training and development centre to keep you up to date with the latest technology. Key responsibilities… Service and repair vehicles of all makes and models Carry out PDI/preparation of new/used vehicles to manufacturers’ standards To carry out all work effectively and within the manufacturer repair times To accurately record all details on the relevant job card(s) Ensure all work is carried out to high/manufacturers’ standards Carry out MOT tests on a range of vehicles in accordance with DVSA guidelines To maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times To maintain and update your individual experience, skills and knowledge through training programmes Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety standards and requirements Be able to liaise effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite, professional and efficient manner What you’ll bring… Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we would be interested in talking to you. A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures. Full UK Driving licence. Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace. MOT License would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered.
