We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Locum Virology BMS to join our esteemed client in Brighton. This role requires working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality virology and serology services to patients. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of patient care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting a broad spectrum of virology and serology tests.
  • Maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Analysing and interpreting complex test results with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Maintaining meticulous records and documentation.
  • Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in virology and serology on the bench either at specialist level (Band 6) or senior specialist level (Band 7).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
