Our client is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Security & Network Engineer to strengthen their team in their Ipswich offices. You will be a member of the IT Operations team, supporting the delivery of vital projects and the production and presentation of networking and cyber related materials. Please be advised this position is initially a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to understand their security requirements and enhance the overall risk management.
- Produce reports for staff presentation.
- Manage the implementation, testing and monitoring of security controls across the IT Systems.
- Carry out training content and sessions to educate employees and enhance cybersecurity awareness.
Previous Skills & Experience:
- Practical experience with Entra ID/Azure/InTune.
- The principles of SOC and SIEM.
- Exposure to eSet or similar Security tools suite including MDR/XDR.
- Previous experience with Data backups/recovery and cloud solutions.
- An understanding of Cyber threats and tracking of Cyber risk.
- Knowledge of external cyber threat frameworks such as Mitre/NIST.
- MC licensing control.
