We are actively looking for dedicated and skilled HGV Class 2 Drivers to work for a top logistics company based in Harlow, Essex. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated retail locations within London and the South-East of England region.
Responsibilities:- Transport goods and materials from one location to another
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of cargo
- Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Possess a valid HGV C or CE driving licence with the appropriate cards such as CPC and Tacho Cards
- Proven two years UK C or CE experience as a working truck driver
- Physically fit
- Excellent driving record with no major endorsements and a maximum of 6 points
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, customer-oriented approach to your work
