Responsibilities:

• Involved in developing and verifying software that underpins product and service offerings.
• Drafts and updates documentation related to software builds and testing procedures.
• Acts as a point of contact for technical discussions both internally and with external partners or clients on software-related topics.
• Contributes to enhancing software testability and overall quality.
• Carries out project-related duties as directed by leadership.
• Performs other relevant responsibilities linked to the position as needed.

What are we looking for?

• Communicates effectively across a range of audiences.
• Competent in general computer use, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiar with the stages of the software development process, with emphasis on testing and integration activities.
• Experience with scripting or coding to support automation of build and test routines.
• Open to periodic travel, including time aboard vessels both within the UK and internationally.
• Approximately a year of hands-on involvement in testing software on Windows-based systems.
• Background in producing documentation such as test strategies, procedures, and outcome summaries.
• Exposure to assembling software packages and creating installation routines would be advantageous.
• Previous work in a technical or engineering-focused environment is considered beneficial.
