About the Role Dealing with national media enquiries on high profile issues Engaging with staff through our various internal channels Using social media and our website to promote ACRO’s work Advising colleagues at all levels on communications matters Supporting marketing campaigns to widen awareness of ACRO’s services This is a great opportunity to join an innovative organisation and play a major role in shaping its future profile. More about Us ACRO Criminal Records Office supports UK and international law enforcement by processing criminal records for the purposes of public protection, safeguarding and worldwide community safety. We are growing, now employing more than 300 people to support the fight against crime as a global leader in our field. Essential Qualifications Essential: Educated toQCF Level 3 plus NCTJ qualification or other qualification in either PR, general media or marketing studies OR work experience deemed to have brought the role holder to a comparable level. Essential: To have worked for a considerable period as a journalist or in a communications or marketing role. Experience of using social media in a professional capacity.
