Business Development Manager – Travel

Location: Mail Metro Media Headquarters, London.

Mail Metro Media is seeking a Business Development Manager to be a strategic, innovative partner to new and existing clients, providing them with insightful, innovative, creative solutions in the travel sector. You will be using your knowledge of market and competitors to identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiation to maximise client ROI within our Mail Metro Media platforms.

Main Responsibilities

  • To be driven to over- achieve revenues across all platforms and collaborate with MMM specialists and lead the team in partnership with the Head of Category
  • Communicate all key travel marketplace knowledge with internal and external clients, using the intel and research to provide ideas for new revenue streams
  • Contribute to sales strategies by evaluating current products, monitoring competitor products and analysing and relaying customer reactions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key agencies and direct clients, to ensure you have a consistent pipeline of revenue, from new and existing business
  • Ensuring salesforce is at the core of all business conversations and transactions. Effective pipeline management is key to this process
  • Take charge of self-development and allow time for learning in the flow of work
