Client: PM Consultancy

Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (SER Registered) with façade design and structural design experience, particularly on residential high-rise towers.

  • Façade Retrofitting Leadership: Design and deliver structural solutions for upgrading existing residential tower façades to current standards (fire, wind, thermal, water).
  • Structural Analysis: Perform rigorous analysis (finite element modelling, load/resistance calculations) of connections, anchors and envelope systems.
  • Project Coordination: Act as the Responsible Engineer, ensuring statutory compliance and all relevant design documentation are SER-signed, per regulatory requirements.
  • Guide junior engineers and technicians through design tasks, participate in quality assurance and peer review processes.
  • Chartered with SER (Structural Engineering Register), strong understanding of compliance implications.
  • Proficient with engineering tools (FEM software, AutoCAD/Revit, structural analysis tools).
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong grasp of relevant building regulations (fire safety, thermal performance, wind action) and façade-specific compliance.
  • Project Delivery Mindset: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, commercial awareness, and effective time/project management.
