Sitting in the Database Development Team, you\’ll support and enhance complex in-house systems that underpin core insurance and finance operations. This is a hands-on hybrid role combining systems analysis, SQL/database development, and application support. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to translate regulatory and operational requirements into technical specifications, support month-end processing, and deliver small-scale development solutions. You’ll be a key player in keeping essential systems running smoothly while helping evolve the technical landscape of the business. Responsibilities: Provide analysis, troubleshooting, and support for complex in-house insurance systems Support critical month-end processes and assist in overnight job monitoring and issue resolution Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable technical documentation Collaborate across IT and business teams to understand financial calculations and insurance workflows Carry out small change development and data updates using SQL/T-SQL Assist with testing, data migration, and system upgrades across production and development environments Engage with tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub/TFS, and ServiceNow to track and manage workload About You You’re an experienced analyst or support specialist with a strong grasp of insurance systems, and you thrive in an environment where finance, technology, and business meet.
