About the role
We are currently seeking two Accredited Practising Dietitians to join our multidisciplinary Health and Therapy Services team—one with a generalist focus and one with expertise in eating disorders.
As a Generalist Dietitian, you will provide client-centred, evidence-based dietetic services across a variety of settings. This includes working with clients who self-refer, are referred by their GP, are NDIS participants, or are engaged through our Prison Menu Review services. Your role will also involve contributing to structured self-management and preventative health group programs and supporting the development of new service initiatives.
As our Eating Disorder Dietitian, you will play a key role in delivering specialised services to individuals experiencing disordered eating. You will lead the next phase of our eating disorder program and provide mentorship to fellow dietitians, supporting their clinical development in this area. You’ll also contribute to service innovation and training across the team.
All successful candidate will:
Provide high quality, evidence based, clinical, community and food service dietetic services, within scope of practice, across the suite of service streams.
Participate in the delivery of structured preventative, self-management group programs, as required.
Maintain client records that include required client data, progress notes and correspondence, as appropriate.
Liaise with referring general practitioners to communicate identified client needs and to obtain any missing participant data.
Provide written reports to clients’ general practitioners, other health care providers and NDIS plans following the initial assessment, following the discharge review and when follow up appointments are required.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated experience working with individuals with eating disorders across the spectrum.
Passion for further developing and leading our eating disorder services.
Willingness to mentor and support the professional growth of other dietitians in this clinical area.
Commitment to best practice, innovation, and ongoing professional development in eating disorder care.
