Are you an experienced Health and Safety Manager from a construction background, based in the London/South East area and looking for an exciting new career opportunity? LDNY People are currently working with a medium sized growing construction business, turning over approximately £20 million with ambitious growth plans. They work in partnership with some of the country's leading developers, focusing on high end residential and office developments.
They are currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to oversee all aspects of H&S across various sites.
Health and Safety Manager Responsibilities:- Oversee health, safety and environmental management across multiple construction sites in and around the London area.
- Drive H&S culture and process across the company with an eye on future business growth plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits across multiple sites, raising awareness around health and safety and promoting an accident-free workplace.
- Monitor and review safety performance, investigate near misses, accidents, incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
- Develop and deliver training programmes to site-based teams, ensuring safety standards and protocols are adhered to.
- Ensure robust reporting procedures and strategies are in place.
- Currently working as a Health and Safety Manager within the construction sector on large developments.
- NEBOSH qualified as a minimum; GradIOSH or CMIOSH would be beneficial although not a pre-requisite.
- Capable of reviewing, implementing and managing health and safety plans across multiple sites.
- Strong understanding of current HSE regulations and keeping abreast of any legislation changes.
- A proactive visible person who can drive and enforce health and safety across the business.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Based within a daily commutable distance to London.
