Key Responsibilities of the Freelance Film Producer Role:

• Develop detailed production plans and budgets to ensure the successful delivery of film projects
• Contract external crew and manage logistics, schedules, and health and safety procedures
• Collaborate closely with in-house filmmakers and external suppliers to bring creative visions to life
• Ensure all necessary approvals, contracts, and permissions are in place before filming and delivery

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Proven success as a line-producer working to the highest industry standards
• A good understanding of editing, post production, audio and CGI
• A solid production background and skill set
• Purchasing and negotiating skills – specifically in relation to all production line-items
• Pragmatic and decisive – be able to respond to creative, technical and decision-making challenges (filming and editing) with speed and accuracy and deliver effective solutions
• Multi tasker – be able to juggle priorities across several projects at any one time
• Good administrative and organizational skills
