At Ward Security, we\βre looking for a dynamic Security Manager to take charge of operations at one of our key sites β a thriving Technology Park in Nuneaton. You\βll lead a dedicated team of officers, provide strategic direction, and build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partner organisations to deliver exceptional security standards.
Position: Security Manager
Pay rate: Β£44,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday β Friday 50 hours per week
Location: Nuneaton CV10
What You\βll Do
As our Security Manager, you will:
- Provide operational and strategic leadership to a large on-site security team.
- Develop and implement tailored security procedures to safeguard people, property, and assets.
- Build trusted partnerships with clients, tenants, and external stakeholders such as local authorities and emergency services.
- Lead on risk management, proactively identifying and mitigating potential threats.
- Chair and contribute to key stakeholder and security meetings, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the training, development, and performance of all officers, ensuring compliance with SIA and site requirements.
- Manage all equipment, accountability processes, and site documentation, including CCTV operations and data release.
- Support emergency response efforts and lead crisis management procedures to maintain safety and minimise disruption.
- Drive a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.
About You
We\βre looking for someone who is:
- An experienced security professional with proven leadership skills.
- SIA Licensed (CCTV Licence essential).
- Holds a driving licence.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Skilled in technical security measures, including CCTV and access control systems.
- A strong communicator who can engage and influence at all levels.
- Motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering the highest standards of service and compliance.
- An inspiring leader with a genuine passion for team development and client satisfaction.
