Oyster has partnered with a private Property Investment firm to find an Investment Analyst to join their team in London.

The company’s property portfolio primarily consists of BTR and Co-living assets, valued at approximately £1bn.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior analysts and leaders of the company to help grow their portfolio and your career. This role offers a significant opportunity to learn and thrive as an Analyst, with progression a key part of the company culture. We are looking for someone who has one to two years experience as an Analyst within the real estate sector, ideally residential dealing with BTR/Co-living assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the evaluation of potential investment opportunities within the BTR and Co-living sectors across the UK.
  • Collaborating closely with the Assets and Strategy Team to provide support in portfolio management and strategy development.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the portfolio and investment strategy by consistently updating the analysis in the business financial model, supporting the implementation of the business plan.
  • Conducting market research and assisting with rent and retention rate forecasting.

Skills & Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience as an Analyst in the Real Estate sector, ideally with exposure to BTR and Co-living assets.
  • Familiarity with financial modelling techniques and understanding of investment risks.
  • A solid grasp of investment structures and the ability to perform basic return calculations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
