La Fosse have partnered with a PE-backed client in the Satellite Communications domain to recruit a Data Architect. You'd be joining at a pivotal time as the current data architecture maturity level is low, so there's a real opportunity to help to build out the function. The role requires a strong foundation in data architecture, ideally with hands-on involvement in AI/ML-driven projects, so would be perfect for someone looking to increase their exposure in this space!
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver scalable data architectures, standards, and models
- Translate complex requirements into robust design for research and operational use
- Support data engineering teams with guidance, mentoring, and hands-on collaboration
- Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance (including regulated environments)
- Produce architecture artefacts and ensure alignment via governance processes
- Contribute to a library of best practices, technical standards, and patterns
- Optimise data flows, lifecycle, and integration across platforms
Experience Required
- Proven experience designing modern data platforms
- Strong understanding of data governance, cataloguing, and data lifecycle
- Experience with cloud data platforms
- Familiarity with AI/ML driven data processing would be highly beneficial.
This is a primarily remote role, requiring occasional travel across Europe to the client's international offices.
