This is a respected organisation and they have a small and friendly HR team that you will work within. To be considered for the role you will need to be CIPD qualified, have a masters in HR or have studied Business or Psychology. You will have 3-5 years HR generalist experience in various industries and have a passion for HR! My client is looking for someone who has dealt with the employee life cycle, good understanding of employment law and has managed ER cases.
About the Job
This part-time HR role (21-25 hours per week, based in the office) supporting the HR management team.
Duties will include:
- Managing the HR inbox
- Managing the day to day recruitment activities
- Onboarding
- Preparing monthly payroll changes
- Supporting Head of HR with ER issues advice and guidance
- Leading on all EAP activities including queries, How to use sessions, promotion of services via poster and email campaigns
- Producing quarterly reports (absence & sickness, exit interview data – reporting on themes and trends and making recommendations)
- Supporting Head of HR with L&D needs using data available from a recent skills audit / gap analysis
- Supporting Head of HR with creating career maps for employees
- Creating L&D support documentation
- Arranging on site pension days / drop in sessions with broker
- Drafting monthly HR internal staff newsletter submission
- Assisting with note taking at internal employee forums
About the Successful Applicant
To be considered for the role you will need to have CIPD, a masters in HR or have studied Business or Psychology. You will have 3-5 years HR generalist experience in various industries and have a passion for HR! My client is looking for someone who has dealt with the employee life cycle, great understanding of employment law and has managed ER cases.
To reiterate this is 21-25 hours per week and these hours will be working in the office in central Reading so very good in terms of transport links to the location.
