Responsibilities

  • Perform vertical milling and boring operations in the warehouse using manual and semi-automated machinery.
  • Interpret technical schematics to support accurate machining and fabrication.
  • Maintain accurate records of all drawings, models, and revisions to ensure version control.
  • Assist in project updates, design changes, and documentation revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in project and production meetings to ensure alignment between design intent and physical output.
  • Support general warehouse activities as needed, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in CAD/BIM software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools such as SketchUp and NavisWorks is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience operating vertical milling machines and performing boring operations.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, schematics, and machining tolerances.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in both design and fabrication.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and independently manage tasks.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and project stakeholders.
  • A relevant qualification in mechanical engineering, CAD drafting, or machining is preferred.

We invite enthusiastic, technically-minded candidates who enjoy both digital design and hands-on machining to apply for this exciting and varied opportunity as a CAD/BIM Technician.
