We are looking for a highly motivated New Business Development Manager to join our successful team as we continue our growth across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India where we have the following vacancy.

Position Details:

  • Role: To promote and sell Juniper Systems portfolio of solutions
  • Salary: Excellent compensation, commensurate with experience and personal success
  • Location: EMEA HQ – Tardebigge, Worcestershire, UK
  • Territory: United Kingdom and Ireland
  • Markets: Industrial, Utilities, Geospatial, Natural Resources and Public Sectors
  • Reporting to: EMEA Managing Director

Position Summary and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of rugged handheld computers (Tablet PCs, Data Collectors), precision GNSS receivers and mapping solutions
  • To open, develop, manage and expand sales through new Channel Partners across UK & I
  • Take ownership of and carry quota of sales revenue for the territory
  • Identify, develop and communicate a clear and concise Channel Partner Strategy (targeting Software Houses, Systems Integrators, Resellers, Consultants), across a selection of existing and new vertical markets including Industrial, Utilities, Geomatics, Natural Resources and Public Services
  • Generate leads by cold calling and other hunting/prospecting techniques
  • Effectively respond to sales leads provided
  • Develop individual partner business plans, which outline KPIs, goals and activities to drive growth and success
  • Collaborate with new partners to identify and understand sales opportunities, awareness, increase sales pipelines and close opportunities
  • Responsible for increasing end user Brand awareness and driving revenues with partners
  • Prepare and lead strategic new partner quarterly business reviews
  • Represent the company at partner sales events and exhibitions
  • Provide accurate monthly & quarterly sales forecast and other reports to senior management
  • Correct usage of CRM system
  • International travel may be required

The Successful Applicant – Experience and Attributes

  • 10 or more years of professional sales experience
  • 5 years successful track record of selling rugged mobile hardware and auto ID solutions
  • Proven track record of onboarding and selling £1.5m+ through channel partners at C-suite level
  • Ambitious, goal orientated team player that can demonstrate deliverable added value to Juniper and our partners
  • Possess significant contacts within the UK & I channel/partner community
  • Proven ability to recognise, analyse, and act on go to market approaches, joint value propositions, and business cases around strategic partnerships
  • Cross-functional influence, strong relationship building, and account management skills toward a broad constituency ranging from end customers, channel partners, sales, marketing, technical and senior management
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation abilities
  • Great team player. Strong drive. Willing to take leadership role in driving initiatives
  • He or she should be an accomplished presenter of sales and technical material to both small and large groups
  • Familiarity with a broad range of rugged mobile hardware (handheld PDAs & Tablets PC) is desirable.
