Are you a well-qualified graduate teacher or industry experienced professional looking to teach in a large department offering a range of Animal Management courses from Level 1 to Level 5? Due to growth in the department, we are looking to recruit someone who can inspire, whether from an industry or educational background.

As a lecturer within the department, you will have the opportunity to deliver skills which include practical animal handling, delivering theory lessons on a variety of subjects and supporting students pastorally. There is potential for full time or fractional posts and future opportunities within the department.

The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the department's development, make significant contributions to the delivery of Vocational and Animal Management courses from Level 1 to Level 3 and ensure accurate tracking and monitoring of learners through our centralised tracking software.

The department continues to grow with a range of Animal Management courses offered including BTEC level 1-3, T level Animal Management and SEG Animal Management courses as well as Dog grooming at Level 2 and 3. Applicants with dog grooming or assessing qualifications are welcome to apply.

You should be either a successful Animal Management graduate, an experienced teacher or someone with industrial based experience in an Animal Management related role, willing to undertake teacher training.
