Telecoms Sector
The business is looking for a BA / Consultant resource to work with the Business Lead and reporting into a Senior resource based in Bangalore, India. The rest of the 16 business unit teams are dispersed across the UK.
There are 16 priority business areas. Thus far, they have focussed onboarding GRC processes into the application in traditional areas of cyber security and risk, and the business is looking to extend to additional business areas, e.g. supply chain management, service operations, global security, product management etc. to standardise, and build robustness in their governance and compliance processes; and reduce the time to serve.
Key skills:- Comfortable with interviews, comms at Senior Management, i.e. HoDs and upwards.
- Ability to build roadmaps for agile development, and communicate these upwards and downwards.
- Work with the offshore tribes / POs to ensure that the requirement is baked into their release plans.
- Must be highly adept at agile ways of working, as the work is in an agile manner with squads and tribes.
- Adoption of innovative ways to workshop, brainstorm, gather requirements and document processes. E.g. Virtual war rooms, Miro/Mural boards etc.
- Ability to influence, good powers of persuasion, and ability to serve as the brand ambassador for the GRC application.
- Documenting the to-be requirements / business processes.
- The business has devised a template that they would like the resource to use, in order to gather / document requirements coherently.
- The client is open to suggestions / ways of working improvements that can make the process better for all stakeholders; or for proposing different approaches / solutions to the problem, e.g. digital adoption.
- Business process tooling/ BPMN via specific tools would be valuable.
- Understanding or working knowledge of ITIL and/or eTOM may be a valuable asset in structuring and standardising the analysis.
- Knowledge of compliance, governance and risk management / mitigation on previous projects will be useful.
