Overview
Our client, a Contemporary Art Business / Gallery portfolio, is seeking a dynamic B2B / Trade Sales Consultant / Business Developer / BDM with a flair for design. You will focus on developing and nurturing relationships with interior designers to ensure their art consultancy becomes an essential part of their project delivery. This position is remote but involves close collaboration with the MD based in Wiltshire, providing guidance and career progression opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and secure new B2B / Trade partnerships within the interior design sector.
- Manage the full new business/onboarding lifecycle: from lead generation and outreach (including cold calling), through to contract agreement, forecasting, and client handover.
- Maintain accurate lead tracking, activity logging, and reporting via CRM.
- Act as a brand ambassador and solutions-based expert to ensure design partners feel prioritized.
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B or Trade sales, preferably within art, interior design, or creative/luxury sectors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a natural relationship-building ability.
- Confidence in generating and converting leads with a client-first, commercial mindset.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing a pipeline independently in a remote setting.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot), LinkedIn, and email marketing tools.
- Genuine interest in art, interiors, or design, with daily interactions with creatives.
