Job Description
- Ensure the delivery of all contracted services in accordance with the TSA & DAA agreements.
- Monitor outputs from third-party depots to ensure standards outlined in the Train Service Agreement (TSA) and DAA schedules are met.
- Develop the capabilities of Outstation Team Leaders to manage and develop their teams to meet operational standards.
- Act as the main liaison with third-party depots and serve as the primary point of contact for operations with customers.
- Represent Hitachi Rail during performance review meetings with third-party providers to monitor DAA performance and delivery.
- Ensure third parties have the necessary resources to meet DAA deliverables.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to develop action plans for performance improvement.
- Regularly review outstation capabilities to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Ensure materials, tooling, and equipment are specified correctly to deliver safe and compliant products aligned with the TSA.
- Maintain readiness of responsible locations to respond effectively to incidents through regular contingency planning reviews.
- Hold periodic meetings with internal stakeholders from Materials, Quality, HSE, and Production to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Support the contracts and commercial teams in understanding operational challenges impacting DAA delivery.
- Conduct audits as per Hitachi's processes and procedures.
- Support customer audits and act as the main contact with suppliers.
- Assist in developing SAP, SOROS, or other Maintenance Management Systems for third-party suppliers to meet DAA requirements.
- Continuously learn new skills aligned with Hitachi's evolving business needs.
- Assist the Head of Outstations as needed.
