What youâll be doing⌠As an Associate Financial Planner , youâll work closely with an experienced Financial Planner, gaining hands-on experience and building the skills needed to become a Financial Planner yourself. Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting your financial planner: Helping prepare client files, conduct research, and draft financial plans. Technical calculations & research: Gathering and analysing data to support financial recommendations. Client interaction: Communicating with clients and providers via email, phone, and in-person meetings. Observing & learning: Attending client meetings, taking notes, and understanding real-world financial planning. Implementation & administration: Assisting in executing financial strategies and keeping everything running smoothly. Working with senior admin: You will be the middle person between planners and admin to ensure the client experience is smooth and efficient; good communication and teamwork is essential. Who we are looking for⌠Aspiring Financial Planner: Currently in a paraplanning role, looking for career progression. We will consider financial admin too if the skills and qualifications match. Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards being qualified). Experience: 2+ years in financial services (administration or paraplanning). Technical skills: Strong knowledge of financial planning tools, products, and Microsoft Office. Attention to detail: A process-driven, organised approach with a high level of accuracy. Great communicator: Strong written and verbal skills, with a client-first mindset. Team player: Someone who thrives in a small, collaborative firm. A passion for financial planning: Understanding that this job is about people and their goals, not just numbers. Curiosity: Someone who is up for listening to podcasts in their spare time, reading up on the latest financial news, pursuing activities that develop great soft skills with clients, and keen on being the best they can be. Whatâs in it for you? Competitive salary: ÂŁ27,000 – ÂŁ40,000 + team-based bonus (so we all win together!). The big range of salary is dependent on experience and exams, but there is much room for growth at a fast pace. Career progression: A structured path towards becoming a Financial Planner.
