The position is due to start dependent on notice and offers a salary of up to £39,500 (DOE). Travel will be required across the area on an ad hoc basis dependent on business needs. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Working on numerous audits within the area Formulating Terms of Reference for individual internal Audit assignments, for discussion with the relevant Principal Auditor and/or Group Manager Developing, leading and managing audit reviews and ensuring all processes are consistently followed and applied Producing written reports at the completion of an assignment/audit that are of a high standard and clearly present issues, conclusions and make recommendations for improvement if necessary Rewards and benefits: 25.5 days annual leave, rising to 30.5 with length of service LGPS Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
