We continue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization. This role is within Systems\’ Manufacturing and Production group. A successful incumbent is expected to: Weld and assemble different pieces using hand-held and robotic welding equipment, such as hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures; utilizing materials like plate steel, sheet steel, structural steel, and tubing. Prepare and complete manual and robotic welding work, including welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal. Associate II, Welder Overview: Weld and assemble parts using hand-held welding equipment and materials specified above. Prepare and complete work by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal. Test and inspect welded components to ensure they meet specifications. Work from various specifications and shop orders. Use measurement tools such as rulers, squares, templates, and gauges. Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables. Report machine damages and maintain equipment safety. Report unsafe conditions to management. Monitor and control robotic welding processes and equipment. Perform visual inspections of weld quality. Program robotic welding systems. Provide feedback and work reports to supervisors or engineering teams. Set up and prepare robotic welding equipment for operation. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Follow health and safety guidelines and ensure team compliance. Maintain confidentiality of company information. Engage in professional development activities. Contribute to team efforts and participate in projects. Associate II, Welder Qualifications: No minimum education required. At least 1 year of robotic welding experience. Basic knowledge of MIG welding, handheld plasma cutting, and other methods. Understanding of welding techniques, material properties, and structural fundamentals. Preferred: Robotic welding certification, experience with solid core wires, argon/oxygen gases, and structural steel welding; 3-5 years in robotic welding environment.
