We are recruiting for a Graduate Sales Engineer to work for our client who are located near Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES OF A SALES ENGINEER:
- Quotation Preparation - Develop detailed cost estimates for projects/components.
- Interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and specifications to develop cost estimates.
- Communicate with customers to clarify technical or commercial requirements.
- Work with engineering, production, and procurement teams to gather information and validate estimates.
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, cost breakdowns, and assumptions.
- Enter and maintain job details in the ERP/MRP system.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining processes and terminology (Desirable not essential).
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360) (Desirable not essential).
THE HOURS:
Working on days – Monday – Friday 7/8 am start – up to 4pm finish.
THE PAY:
You will earn between £25,000 to £38,000 per annum depending on experience.
